RAF Brize Norton
We will remember them… HILTON22.
On 30 January 2005, at 1330 Zulu, XV179, call sign Hilton 22, a Royal Air Force C-130K Hercules, was shot down during Operation Telic. Sadly, all crew and passengers were lost.
Today, a remembrance service was held outside the old 47 Squadron building at RAF Brize Norton.
