VLB Eindhoven 24-9-2025 Hercules fan Jerry wilde eerst naar Vlb Volkel maar ging toch zijn geluk beproeven bij Vlb Eindhoven en het waren vooral donkere wolken maar het lukte hem toch om mooie en bijzondere foto’s van RNLAF 336 sq Hercules C-130H-30 G-275 en c-130H G781 te maken dus volop actie de Hercen zowel in de landingen als doorstarts en een Fly over. credits Jerry Immers bedankt !
Marshall Aerospace a major contract support all 12 ex RAF Herculessen to the Turkish Air Force
The Turkish Ministry of National Defence has awarded Marshall Aerospace a major contract to support its fleet of newly-acquired Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules aircraft.
The multi-year agreement covers entry into service and sustainment for all 12 aircraft to be operated by the Turkish Air Force, including scheduled maintenance, spares and tooling.
Marshall will also provide training to enable the customer to build up an indigenous capability on the C-130J platform.
In partnership with the UK Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Export & Sales (E&S), Marshall supported the resale process as the Principal Retail Partner for these aircraft, while conducting ongoing anti-deterioration maintenance and storage at its facility in Cambridge, UK.
In addition to the scheduled maintenance, Marshall will have completed centre wing box replacements on each of the 12 airframes prior to the aircraft entering into service with the Turkish Air Force.

20-9-2025 Jorg van der Schans was inplaats van ieder jaar naar de parkeer garage bij VLB Eindhoven wilde hij dit jaar ook eens de luchtlandingen en de herdenking van Market Garden op de Ginkelse heide mee maken hierbij een greep uit zijn Hercules droppings foto’s
Ook Peter Bosma was aanwezig bij Airborne-herdenking geweest op de Ginkelse Heide.
Auto geparkeerd in Wolfheze en vanaf daar zo’n 5 km naar de hei gelopen. Eenmaal op de Heide kwam ik erachter dat vrij lopen langs de dropzone niet meer mogelijk was, zoals ik 2 jaar geleden nog wel kon. Dus maar één plek gekozen: midden op de hei, precies in de aanvliegroute van de vliegtuigen die de parachutisten droppen.…
